About The Pro Setup
Built from real jobsite problems, not theory.
I’m Wes Robertson. I built The Pro Setup to help owner-operated trades and home-service businesses clean up the parts of the business customers see before, during, and after the job.
Calls. Texts. Quotes. Deposits. Payments. Follow-up. Reviews. Websites. Google pages. The simple stuff that can make a good business look harder to trust than it should.
This is not business-school theory. It comes from seeing the same problems show up on real jobs over and over.
I’ve seen what good trades deal with
Since 2009, I’ve worked in business operations. Since 2011, I’ve also been involved in real estate and renovation work, including working around dozens of trades across hundreds of renovation projects.
I’ve seen plenty of good contractors, installers, repair pros, cleaners, landscapers, and other service businesses do solid work, but still struggle with the business side.
Not because they are lazy.
Usually because they are busy doing the work.
The phone rings while they are on a job. Texts pile up. Photos, addresses, prices, and job details get buried. Quotes go out later than they should. Deposits are awkward. Reviews do not get asked for. The website or Google page does not show the quality of the work.
That stuff matters because customers judge the business before they ever see the finished job.
Why The Pro Setup exists
The Pro Setup exists to help good trades make the business side look as solid as the work.
The goal is simple: help customers trust you faster, reach you easier, approve the job, pay you, and leave a review without making you deal with a complicated system you will not use.
How I work
- Keep what already works
- Fix the part causing the most friction first
- Avoid giant software unless it is actually needed
- Use plain language
- Build in small steps
- Make sure the owner can actually use the setup
- Keep the business owner in control of their accounts

I’ll look at how customers find you, contact you, get a quote, approve work, pay, and leave a review, then show you what I would clean up first.
